Section 322 of the Criminal Code of Canada – Theft from Employer Criminal Lawyer
R.S. was employed as a service technician for a company that offered in-house, on-site repair of appliances. The nature of R.S.’s role required him to take parts and tools from his employer and to reimburse his employer at a later date. Ultimately, R.S. and his employer experienced a breakdown in their relationship at which point R.S. quit his job and sought different employment. When R.S. left his job, his employer alleged that R.S. had a significant outstanding bill for unpaid parts and tools. Moreover, R.S. was purported to have collected money personally that was owed to his employer. R.S. was arrested and charged with a multitude of Criminal Code offences including fraud and theft in amounts over $5000.
R.S. retained Sean Fagan criminal lawyer and the matter was scheduled for trial. Sean Fagan successfully resolved this matter by the complete withdrawal of all charges on the day of trial.
