R. v. X.X. – 7641

Allegation:

X.X. was charged following a domestic dispute involving threats and alleged physical aggression. The complainant alleged that X.X. engaged in harassing behaviour over a prolonged period and escalated to verbal threats and intimidation that prompted police involvement. The allegations were taken seriously by the Crown and treated as part of a pattern of domestic control. Result:

X.X. retained Devlin Gavigan of Sean Fagan’s office. Although the file was scheduled for trial, defence efforts led to a full resolution without a conviction. No criminal record was entered. No weapons prohibition was imposed.
